Let me first simplify this post.
My 2nd ram slot is not working. Whenever there is a ram stick seated on that slot, it's not booting. The DRAM EZ DEBUG LED is always on. Not posting, nothing.

Possible reason:
May 17 - I tried to clean my cpu heat sink fan. Unscrewed it and pulled it carefully. Unfortunately, the cpu also came up and it's stucked in the heatsink. I was so scared because it is an AMD cpu. I got nervous because i might have bent some pins. I checked each pin carefully, nothing was bent. I managed to removed the stucked CPU from the heatsink. Then I installed the cpu back to the cpu socket. Again, I checked for bent pins before installing the cpu again. Once i've done that, I screwed the heat sink back, I opened my pc, boom. Didn't boot up.

What I did was remove the heatsink and cpu again. I was shocked to find 2 bent pins. I tried to straighten them up but DAMN I WAS AN IDIOT AND I BROKE THEM!! Now they're missing as well. I didn't mind it, i still re-seated my cpu back to its socket. I booted it up and it worked. Been playing games for 6 hours, no problem. No errors or such thing.

May 28 - I bought a new ram stick since I only have 1 piece of 4 gb ddr4
Ok, i was very excited to boot it up after i seated the newly bought ram to the mobo's 2nd ram slot. I opened my pc, not booting up. The DRAM EZ DEBUG LED is on. I dont know why. I tried everything again. Remove all components.

Once i removed the cpu, i saw another pin was missing. I dont know whats going on so i immediately put it back together again. I booted it up with 2 ram sticks installed (slot 1 and slot 2) same thing happens. I tried booting it up with 1 ram stick installed in slot 1, its working. Tried booting it up with 1 ram stick installed in slot 2, doesn't boot up.

So in short, both rams are in good condition. They're both working in slot 1 whenever slot 2 is empty. Slot 2 is the problem here

Maybe because of the missing cpu pins? Or the mobo pins are wrecked?
I heard that you cannot fix the cpu socket on an AM4 motherboard.
What should i do besides throwing my pc or buying a new one?
Should I buy a single 16gb ram stick?

Help

It sounds like the pins that broke off were responsible for the second memory slot, it will work fine without them as long as you don't have memory in the second slot. I would either get a new CPU if you can still return it under warranty, or buy a single 16gb kit.

Its still worth a shot, people in the PC world like to help out others with issues like this, you may still be able to get it replaced if you got it from a place like Micro center, or Amazon since you can just return it anyways.
