Question I need help troubleshooting problems on my PC.

I just built my PC a few days ago and I have been having trouble with it nonstop afterwards.

Firstly, when I lock my computer the screen goes to black then back again as if nothing has happened.

Secondly, my computer keeps freezing but I have no trouble moving the mouse.

Thirdly, after having to force shutdown my PC, it is saying “Scanning and repairing drive (C: 10% complete.”

Did I seriously mess something up when building my computer or is it a software issue?

Strip your build to bare essentials. If your CPU/MB support integrated video, leave GPU out as well. Install fresh OS, update, and see what happens.

I ended up doing a fresh start on my pc and now everything seems to be working well.

Will keep this updated.

Just to add,with Ryzen keep your bios up to date so do you have the latest one? It's pretty recent "Version 2202 from 2019/04/11"

Doing a fresh start and reinstalling windows did fix my problems. Days later, no issues.
