This is what i have.

Asus P5Q Pro Turbo
Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 3.33Ghz @ 4.0Ghz
Thermaltake NiC C5 CPU Cooler
2x2GB G.Skill PC2-6400 (400 Mhz)
2x2GB Kingston PC2-6400 (400 Mhz)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550Ti GDDR5 2GB
Thermaltake Smart M Series 850 Watts
Samsung SSD 840EVO 250 GB

I play Aion Online and my FPS are very bad when i play with the graphics in auto. the only way for me to get a lil better fps is if i lower all the graphics settings to 0 and im tired of that. I was thinking about upgrading my parts but dont know where to start. Should I upgrade my video card or mobo/cpu/ram? and what do you recommend.
System Req.

Core 2 Quad is much better than Core 2 Duo.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 - sells for $110 on eBay
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 - sells for $65 on eBay

I would not be mixing multiple RAM kits together. You can use faster RAM than DDR2 800Mhz.
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit

If i were you i would upgrade everything except the psu and ssd if you have a tight budget i think the cpu is whats holding you down in aid so a new cpu/cpu+mobo.you could buy a core 2 quad for the same socket but can it would probably be best to change the mobo to and go with an i5 and then later on a new gpu

This is a good Idea and great way to save money, C2Q 9650 runs well with the R9 270, as well faster RAM means better PC.

+1'd

It seems you already started on overclocking. First of all jump to the Core 2 Quad 9650 base clock of 3.0 GHz can reach 4.0 GHz stably. I recommend go for faster memory cause 400 MHz isn't fast try at least 800 MHz or try 1026 MHz or 1333 MHz. You have a decent Graphic's Card. Like he said see if you can lean on the i5 side. Maybe a i5 3770k should be enough for today's gaming
