I need help upgrading ...

I have a gtx 750ti and I play a lot of games but it's not holding up the performance is so terrible ...
I want to upgrade to a 980 should I ?

16gb ram
750watt psu
ssd 256gb

No i would recommend to get a 1050 ti because it will be able to play more games the 900 series is dead. Its the scary truth.

without knowing the system the OP has, your recommendation is moot.

Yeah, whatever you do, don't go for a 1050ti over the 980. It is not even close. But I think $250 is a little high for a 980. I have seen used 980ti go for $300.

Your PSU may limit your options though as it is power hungry.

Yeah, it is time for a GPU upgrade. You will see a big performance moving from a 750ti to a 980 as your current system is a little top heavy for gaming. Your system will handle any GPU you put in it just fine.

Yeah, it is time for a GPU upgrade. You will see a big performance moving from a 750ti to a 980 as your current system is a little top heavy for gaming. Your system will handle any GPU you put in it just fine.
