Alright everybody, I'm stumped. I really need a new PC, I don't however want to break the bank. First off, this is what I'm wanting to do;

(1.) I have an Elgato HD for streaming/recording console games.

(2.) Possibly run PC games, maybe not AAA titles

(3.) Video editing

Ok, now I have done several hypothetical builds via PCPartsPicker.com, and I know the best budget processor is the Ryzen 5 2600 or 2600x, unfortunately, this runs me up to $800. This would also be my first PC Build so I'm incredibly nervous. I've been doing alot of research, and everytime I find what I think is a decent Build, I read things or watch videos that contradict me. I am a complete novice and I can't seem to come to a decision. If anyone could give a few hints/help on this. I get to do this once, If I can get by on a Ryzen 3 2200g with a good GPU then I'll do that. I understand I maybe asking alot, but I need some advice...

If you want to run the system to stream console games not the PC games, your budget should be OK. I would not do both at the same time though unless the games are light weight like CSGO/LOL/Diablo 3. If you are looking to stream PC gaming, then it may not be very good.

RX 580 is a great video card for the price for 1080 resolution. I am running a similar speed card (R9 290X) and can play WOW at 4k resolution at 40-60 fps with a drop to 30 in raids and places with smoke going off often.
You didnt state your budget, but a 2200g should do you fine up to a 1660ti/gtx1070, although you should get a b450 series board to assure compatibility with 2xxx series ryzen. If you are really strapped for cash, consider rx570 or 580's and perhaps keep an eye on this reddit for deals.

My Max Budget is around $800, but that build didn't include keyboard (A good one) or monitor. So I'd like to "Best Case Scenerio" do $650-$700 for the tower itself. So a 2200g would allow for streaming and running Elgato? I read somewhere yesterday that it wouldn't. I can't remember if that was with or without a dedicated GPU. This is my first build and I want to not mess up.

ah sorry, i was of the mindset of just gaming, It probably would be able to stream, but it'd be a bit tight. Perhaps a 2400g or 1600 with a cheaper 3xx series board.

a few friends stream with stock r5 1600 and in the past the 1600 has dropped to ~$100, if you have a microcenter nearby, you'd be golden, but that's wishful thinking.
