Hello there
So today, a friend of mine dropped off his laptop for me to do a fresh Windows install on it. I installed Windows but I have a major problem, considering this is a laptop. I found and installed the GPU and the Ethernet drivers on it, but when I tried wireless drivers, nothing worked. I tried multiple wireless drivers off of HP's website for it and it still doesn't work. The wireless was working before the fresh install of Windows. Did I do something wrong? The laptop is a HP Pavilion G7-1333ca and it came to me with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, which I cleared out completely, and did a fresh install of it.

Something I realized though, is that on the F12 button, there's a wireless symbol and also a light on it. Before the fresh install, the light was white, but now it is orange. I pressed F12 multiple times and it is still orange. Is that the cause? I think the orange light means the wireless adapter is off.

I completely forgot about this thread. I already solved it, turns out I had to download HP Connection Manager and the Broadcom 802.11 driver. I've been installing the wrong ones all along. Thanks for the help anyway.
