Hello,
I own a Intel Core i7-6800K Broadwell-E 6-Core 3.4 GHz LGA 2011-v3 140W BX80671I76800K Desktop Processor, and wanted to make sure that this DEEPCOOL Castle 360EX cooler is compatible with it. It says that it is compatible with LGA20XX/LGA1366/LGA115X Intel CPU Sockets. I just wanted to make sure that that "LGA 20XX" designator also meant LGA-2011-v3? I am replacing a DEEPCOOL CAPTAIN 360 EX 3x120mm CPU Liquid Cooler for Intel LGA2011-v3/2011/1366/1156/1155/1151/1150 & AMD Socket FM2+/F. Any and all advice would be appreciated. It's going into an NZXT Phantom 820 case with a MSI Godlike Carbon X99 Motherboard. Thank you for your help!

The CPU cooler will be directly relevant to the socket of the MB.
The Deepcool Castle 360EX is indeed compatible with the MSI X99A Godlike Carbon.

If you haven't actually already put these together, obviously you'll want to make sure that BIOS is up to date before installing 6800K, as some require a BIOS update.

Yes, the DEEPCOOL is compatible. No worries.

Thank you for your advice. Yes the PC is already completely built and has been being used until a leak appeared in my old cooler. I caught it almost right away (thank god) and shut the system down, removed the old deepcool captain 360ex and ordered a Deepcool Castle 360ex to replace it. Thank you both for your immediate answers! I now feel confident that I have ordered the correct product and I'm thinking it should be an easy swap!
