Question I need help with a sensor panel, big time.

I am thinking about adding a sensor panel to display temps, FPS, etc. about my gaming PC. Because my PC knowledge is practically non-existent, I need this to be as simple as possible. I have seen many videos that add a panel to a case. I would like to avoid this method because I am not confident that I can do this without causing irreparable damage. I have seen videos of external panels, some rather large (8”), and I like this option. This seems simpler, yet still a bit complex for me. Do you have recommendations or advice about what, or how, I should go about adding an external sensor panel?

Here’s a couple side questions that may or may not be relatable. Do I need to run MSI Afterburner to run RivaTuner? Seemingly, whenever I run RivaTuner and press the shortcut keys to display information, the information doesn’t display unless I simultaneously run MSI Afterburner. The reason I ask is I was looking for ways to display information without running Afterburner and RivaTuner because I am concerned that these are overriding Adrenalin. My Adrenalin settings are 98% default settings because I have no idea what anything means, yet. Anyways, would you happen to know if running Afterburner and of RivaTuner overrides Adrenalin? I have no idea how to test this.

For you, easiest would be buying sensor panel that connects via USB. E.g like this one,
amazon: https://www.amazon.com/English-Version-Computer-Temperature-Secondary/dp/B09WJGP8BN

It had dedicated software that you have to use, if you want it to display anything.

RivaTuner is GPU OC software. Only OC and that's it. For telemetry, you need something else. MSI Afterburner offers telemetry as well. Then again, RivaTuner is the core part of MSI Afterburner.

For telemetry, best would be HWinfo64.
