i need help with downloading my windows 8.1 pro to a blank disk i dont know which files i have to download please help me

i need help downloading/burning windows 8.1 pro software but i don't know what too down load i see this one file that is almost 5 gigs and im pretty sure this is the file but i don't know is this the one and only file i need to download or is there supposed to be other files i have to download , it says windows_8_1_professional_x64_IE11_NOV2013 and i also need help with booting on usb with a a computer that does not have a os

Just download the whole thing, there isn't that much that you DON'T need.

Assuming you are downloading from M'soft, you would normally d'load an ISO file and save it to your Hard Drive. Then, once you have it, either burn to a blank DVD or set up a USB flash drive.

the file windows 8.1 file is actually 8.7 gigs and it wont fit on 1 dvd is it ok if i download the os from 2 cds or should i try doing a boot from usb

Strange, I have 8.1 on a single DVD...d'loaded from M'soft...

The file should be like 3-4gb depending on whether you're downloading the 32-bit or 64 bit version of Windows.
