i need help with drivers

hi i got a new pc and after setting evry thing up it told me that i have a gpu driver uppdate
i know its a stupid question but when i tried to downlod drivers in my old pc
it gave me a black screen evry like 5 secs
(the gpu is gtx 1070)

The driver updates gave your older PC black screens, are those happening in your new PC?
What GPU were you using in the old rig?

If you don't install those graphic drivers you won't be able to utilize your GTX 1070 to it's full potential whatsoever.

the gpu in the old rig was gtx 660
its isnt hepening in the new pc

Well, i see no problem there then.

Maybe it was a driver version problem related with that old GPU or monitor. Can't really tell.

But, if you've already installed all newer drivers to your current GPU in this new PC and nothing wrong is happening, IMO you're good to go.
