I need help with Fallout 76 upgrade

My CPU and GPU appear to old?
GeForce GTX 670
Minimum: Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5 GHz / AMD Ryzen 3 1300X 3.5 GHz or equivalent

MY CPU:
You Have: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3820 CPU @ 3.60GHz the hardware app gives me a (!) warning?

Can any one point to an ebay lower end GPU for this?
I ran the beta @4K and it stalled so I went down to 3K or 2K and it looked awesome and worked.

Id like to go 4K

I hope im not the only game nerd, what kind of nerd dont know about guts?

I consider my self a casual gamer. I need 4K but I dont need high quality but the frame rate is important I guess.

GTX 1050 Ti 4gb $209 plus tax today.
craigs list used EVGA GTX 960 FTW 4GB $90 plus id have to chip in $20 more to get it he is FAR.

Both are hour long drives,

I suppose I should just play fallout 76 at low settings a few days and get something ebay?

$230 is what I want to pay.

To play games at 4k, you're looking at 1080ti minimum if you expect to get a couple years out of the card. I'm not your guy if you're looking at used parts.

The 1080 can only play non demanding games like EA SPorts titles at 4k. It's primarily a 1440p card. For triple A titles you'll need a minimum of a TI and even then you'll have to dial back the graphics settings.

my 1080 ti WAS working for a time. Now it black screens total power failure then reboots. no errors.
it runs hot at 70c and just shuts down the PC. We removed some ram and it appeared to fix but now its not able to work much.
I put a case fan over the side and it moved near zero air.

ok worked long enough to do something. I see I did not press the activate on MAI afterburner. still hit 67c! so close.

ok got two missions no crash with afterburner at 4K ultra mode.
