Okay so my TurtleBeach PX22 Gaming headphones recently damaged while I was playing CS:GO. As you may know, these headphones have a mic that comes with the headphones. I can not hear anything, but the microphone on the headset still works (I've tested it in "Recording Devices" and in game) I want to be able to use the microphone without having to use the same headset. How can I use a different headset WITHOUT the microphone and use the headset with the microphone at the same time?

Please be specific with what I have to do to be able to use my headset to use the mic and another headset to listen to stuff with. Thanks.

From what I could tell from this site, you have a USB/3.5mm connector for listening to audio. http://www.turtlebeach.com/product-detail/ps3-headsets/ear-force-px22/344

Your Mic is also USB.

If you can plug in just the USB and set the microphone to the default recording/communications device that should work.

Then take the other headset and plug that into the headphone port, so you can listen to audio through that. Set it as the default playback device,

You're going to have to pull some ninja moves to have both on your head at the same time, though.

As a sidenote, this is posted in the wrong forum.
