I need help with my build

I have a few questions in mind. I am planning a build consisting of the following:

Intel core i5-4690 3.5Ghz
Gigabyte GA-H97 Gaming 3
Western Digital WD 1TB Blue
Crucial M500 240GB SSD
Zotac GTX 970 4GB GDDR5 256bit
Kingston HyperX 4GB 1600 Mhz (x2)
Corsair CX Series CX600 80-Plus Bronze
NXZT lexa S Chasis

I do not plan to Overclock any of my components.
I have read that a single GTX 970 would be enough for 1080p gaming and i think i would settle with using only one

My question is this,
1. Is the power supply i am planning to use enough for the build? should i just get a 500w power supply? are there any alternatives which would cost less?
2. I really do no want to spend too much on my motherboard and i am conflicted as to what to pick for my motherboard, i have read that a z97 would be compatible with a broadwell CPU, if that is the case, should i get a z97 chipset motherboard? and are there any alternatives to my currently chosen motherboard which would cost less?

Thank you for taking your time in helping me.

Thank you sir, I have read it and some suggested that i get a seasonic S12II 520W power supply,

my question is should i get the 520W or the 620W
Also would it really matter that much if what i use i modular or not?

Thank you sir,

Do you think that my motherboard will be fine? or can i downgrade it to a mini-atx maybe?
I really do not want to spend too much on my motherboard and any suggestion would much appreciated.

Also can you recommend a 1080p monitor that would be good for gaming? i think 21" would be good enough for me. I have been looking around and reading forums and reviews and i really do not know how and what to pick.

Would there be a dramatic difference in performance if I use a mini-ATX?
Also, I am looking at the MSI z97 PC MATE as a replacement for my chosen motherboard.
Do you think that would be okay? or are there any alternatives to it?

520 Watts is more than enough if you are not planning for SLI. If you are planning for SLI, get a 650Watts PSU. Get Seasonic PSUs as they are the OEM of Corsair. Antec is equally very good. So its is up to you to choose between both.

MSI z97 PC MATE is better since its a z97 and not a h97, Z97 have more supports for graphics and supports overclocking (if that comes to your mind one day), the H97 do not support these features.

Features linked below:

so the Z97 would be a better alternative yes.

Thank you sir,

I will be using the S12II then because i wont be using Dual GPUs in my build.

About my motherboard though,
Im planning on changing it to an MSI z97 PC Mate or MSI H97-E35
This is mainly due to budget constraints, any thoughts?

But i have a locked core-i5 so I wont be overclocking it.
I think this system will last me 3 years or so. So if ever i would want to upgrade i would rather build a new PC i guess. Should i still go for the z97?

Okey... so now you have a system that you cant overclock with and you dont want SLI/Crossfire GPU for now.

So when you gonna start upgrading your system for overclocking and dual gpu, you will need new PSU, Motherboard and CPU, and with that time your components is probably outdated, so you probably dont need to think about that for now.

That is what i was going for :D
By the time I would upgrade, it would much wiser to just buy a new gaming rig to make use of all the new components in the market.
Again sir, thank you very much for your help.

I have to ask another question sir,
Do you think the 4690 is worth it? considering it is only 200mhz boost difference from the 4590? in our country i would have to add 25$ (converted from our currency) to avail the 4690.
Should i go for the 4690 or just settle for the 4590?

Also im questioning my GPU choice. Is Zotac a good card brand or should i just get a Palit Gtx 970 Jetstream?

Here is Intel Core i5 4690 vs 4590
http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-4690-vs-Intel-Core-i5-4590

It wouldnt really matter that much, but for the price you'll get a CPU that perform a little better and the price aint much of a change.

For GPU the brand dosent really matter that much except the coolers, its more about what you like as a personal design.
But the Palit Gtx 970 Jetstream got good reviews i see they got 5stars here and there while the Zotac got some few 4 stars, so Palit is the way to go i think.

Also im gonna go with the Jetstream, thanks!
the Seasonic S12II should be more than good enough for these right?
