Ok so i recently got an FX 8370 (new and cheap), because my older AM3 board with a Phenom II x6 1055T was dying.
Now i had a stable overclock on the FX 8370 (4.5 Ghz) and on my Sapphire R7 370 2GB (Core: 0.995- 1.1Ghz, Memory 1.4- 1.5 Ghz) for about 2 weeks, no problem at all, but than i started to notice a performance drops withing a few games i was playing. So i set back both my CPU and GPU to stock speeds and ran a few benchmarks, the tests results seemed normal.
Than i overcloked my CPU back to 4.5 Ghz with the same settings and voltages than before and it's just not stable? I was like ok, i'll set it back to stock and test my GPU. I overclocked my GPU back up to 1.1 and 1.5 and ran a benchmark and the scores were lower than they were without the OC? Am i underpowered? I am using a 700 W power supply (it's not the best but it should work fine: https://www.inter-tech.de/en/products/psu/atx/sl-700), if i am why was the OC on BOTH the components working fine for 2 weeks, without any problems, the temps were fine, no crashes, good fps increase etc.?

My specs:
CPU:AMD FX-8370
GPU: XFX R7 370 2GB
MOBO: Gigabyte 970A-DSP3
RAM: Corsiar DDR3 2x4 GB 1600 Mhz
SSD: Kingston SUV400 240 GB
HDD: Toshiba DT01ACA050 500 GB

I know that crossfire has nothing to do with it, i just said it like that so you know what model it is.

Voltage regulator? I'll look into it, thank you for the reply.

Never even thought of that to be fair.

Will test that out, i do have 4 fans in my case already, and everything seems cool.

I will look into VRM cooling. Thank you again.
