Hey,

I just received my Sharkoon M25-W white
I want to put my parts in tommorow, but its a bit of a weird case and can't really find any good videos that i can follow.

Do any of you have a video or guide on how to assemble with this case?
I would really appreciate it.

Greetings,

Solution
If you can't find a video for your case, try to look at one for different cases.
They should be very similar.

Probably the most tricky part is to decipher the front panel connectors and for that you need to look at the motherboard documentation.

Here is my build process:
MY build process:

Before anything, while waiting for your parts to be delivered, download
and read, cover to cover your case and motherboard manual.
Buy a #2 magnetic tip philips screwdriver.
I find it handy to buy a power switch like this for testing.

1. I assemble the critical parts outside of the case.
That lets me test them...
The problem is that there's rarely any that are understandable, like i basically know everything but not the PSU cause its in like a square box, could you please link me a good video? I've looked for hours.

The manual is pretty hard to understand since it does tell what to do first etc..

I would really appreciate it!

1. I assemble the critical parts outside of the case.
That lets me test them for functionality easily.
A wood table or cardboard is fine.
2. Plug in only the necessary parts at first. Ram, cpu, cooler, psu.
Do not force anything. Parts fit only one way.
Attach a monitor to the integrated motherboard adapter if you have one, otherwise to the graphics card.
3. If your motherboard does not have a PWR button, momentarily touch the two pwr front panel pins with a flat blade screwdriver.
4. Repeatedly hit F2 or DEL, and that should get you into the bios display.
5. Boot from a cd or usb stick with memtest86 on it. memtest will exercise your ram and cpu functionality.
6. Install windows.
7. Install the motherboard cd drivers. Particularly the lan drivers so you can access the internet.
Do not select the easy install option, or you will get a bunch of utilities and trialware that you don't want. Drivers only.
7. Connect to the internet and install an antivirus program. Microsoft security essentials is free, easy, and unobtrusive.
8. Install your graphics card and driver if you tested with integrated graphics.
You will need to remove the graphics card later to install your motherboard in the case.
Make a note of how the graphics card latches into the pcie slot.
The mechanism will be hidden under the card and may be difficult to work if you have not previously checked how.
9. Update windows to currency.
10. Only now do I take apart what I need to and install it in the case.
11. Now is the time to reinstall your graphics card.

Solution
Thank you for this but... im typing this message on the PC already :)

Everything works already all i got is a new CASE.
Im taking my parts out of the case im typing on (RIGHT NOW)
And place it in the new case (SHARKOON M25-W)

I only have to de-assemble the parts & put them in the new sharkoon case.

Can i just do this:
1. De-assemble my parts from the OLD case.
2. Keep my MOBO , CPU , COOLER , GPU , RAM as one part, get the rest seperate (ssd, dvd drive, psu etc)
2. Put DVD Drive in the front
3. Put the MOBO including CPU COOLER GPU RAM in the case first.
4. Than PSU
5. Than my SSD
6. Than put all the cables into the mobo? Like powerbutton, psu cables etc.

Is this a good guide to do it?

Thank you building with few hours,

Could you do me one favour?
And send a simple clear assembly video equal to my case, if thats not too much to ask?
I would really appreciate it.

Thank you & greetings,
jf.
