i need help with my printer

can i please have some help, i cant print anything from my printer. when i click on something to print it says
windows cannot open add printer , local print spooler service is not running , restart spooler or machine.

ive done this several times , in task manager and services , but its like the print spooler will not stay restarted. is there anyway i can fix this ? ( have windows 8)

if it an hp printer download there printer driver cleaner. run it and then reinstall the newest printer driver again. if it another printer brand try downloading the newest drivers see if that fixes your issue.also in printer make sure you have the right printer selected.

that didnt work , it still says the same, cannot open add printer , local print spooler stopped. and yes i do have the right printer selected. and its a brother printer .
