I Need Help With Overclocking.

I have been trying to over clock, and my software download from intel failed. So, I decided to try to go to the bios and adjust there. I THINK I found what I need but it is locked in a grey color. ( OS- win8, Bios- Phoenix award, CPU-core 2 duo @ 2.2 G hz)

Ok, so what did you find exactly find in the BIOS? If it was "CPU Multiplier" it is normal because I don't think that CPU is unlocked. You will need to adjust the "Base Frequency" or something like that.

No, cpu multiplier. And I don't believe there was even a base frequency.
