I need help with port forwarding

My router is D-link DSL 2750U. I need to open ports for playing fifa 16 on ps4. so i went to the router page , assigned the ports, but when i checked on http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ , ports were closed. please help, suggest some troubleshooting methods

The ports are 3074, 3478-3479, 3659, 6000 80, 443, 1935, 3478-3480, 3659, 10000-10099, 42127

How do I check if it's a firewall issue?

When setting up ports to port forward for a console or pc game.

Input the IP the Ps4 console was given by the router.
Select the correct type of protocol TCP, or UDP

Input each port you need to open Ie: from : 23500 - to: 23500.
Make a rule for each port you need to open and the protocol type it requires. TCP or UDP.
And give each port forward a name tag ie: PS4 FIFA 1, 2,3 ect.
apply each setting when done, move on to the next port to open. clicking apply after each entry.
Find the hardware firewall of your router, if the security setting is set to High.
You need to change it to medium settings at least.

Make sure Upnp mode in the router is enabled.

Bellow is a table of ports to open in the router for fifa 2016 on the Ps4.
Make sure you select the right protocol for the port number entered.

Each port Listed must have a single rule for it

Example : Name: Protocol type: Port to open from and too. so you would put 3074 for the start and 3074 for the ending port range. IP of Ps4 given or assigned to it by the router.


PlayStation 4 Protocol UDP: 3074, 3478-3479, 3659, 6000

How do I make sure upnp mode is enabled ? And how do I check firewall settings for router?

Simply log into your router.
The hardware firewall of the router will be in the security settings page or menu of the router.
Like wise upnp should be listed as an option in your router with a option to enable or disable it via a tick box option.
