Okay so I just got a new XFX R9 280X!! I have it overclocked from 1000mhz to 1150mhzcore and memory is from 1500mhz to 1650mhz.
I did not mess with the voltage. Now i didn't realize till today that by overclocking i am still increasing my volts and electricity flow through the card because i have increased the core and the memory, right? even though i did not actually increase the bar on MSI afterburner it still increased the wattage and Volts right? Magic isn't just making it faster. my volts are .950 at idle and 1.200 when at load or playing games. Do i need to check my watts for the card to and where can i do that at? also i need to know what else i need to check in order to make sure that this is stable and have enough power to handle the overclock. here are my comp specs So my question is does my wattage and volts increase because i have my graphics card overclocked?
