i need help

I have no log in screen , because i dont' need one. i have the newest update for windows 7. i woke up in the morning and there was an infinite reboot loop. safe mode is the only thing that works. Can you please help me? ( if it helps, it gets to the welcome screen , freezes, then the moniter flickers a few times then it restarts, saying that windows wasn't shut down properly).

windows 7 os 64 bit
intel core i7
msi nvidia 240 gt graphics card
12 gigs of ram
1 terybyte hard drive 739 gigs because of what i have on my pc

what did it do prior to the morning of infinite reboot?

but first, go to your bios and select "load optimal defaults" on the exit tab, then save and exit.

It was working fine. Nothing was wrong, I was just playing hawken, talking to friends, and listening to music

i know what went wrong... i haven't used norton antivirus in a long time, and got a virus. i am fixing my pc. if i need help, i will say something on this form.
