i need help

I just finished putting my gaming pc together and i turned it on to make sure everything still work and after letting it sit for like 30 mins i noticed it shut itself down and rebooted and i dont have windows yet so what could be making it shutdown and reboot?

no it was not connect to the internet and the parts are i5, 8gb corsair ram, corsair 750 power supply, evga gtx 760sc, asrock Z77 extreme4, and a 1tb

It could simple have rebooted form sitting at the BIOS too long. I would not worry about anything. Just install Windows and use the computer.

ok but it was not sitting at the bios it was at he screen telling me that i need to use the right boot device. i5-3470 3.2ghz,psu is a corsair cx750m

just a little curiosity, why would getting connected to net make a change?!

btw i would also recommend checking temps + the voltages, if its fine just install os and see if same thing happens !

Not the best PSU, but that is not the issue. I;m not surprised it rebooted. Computers WILL reboot when left at that screen too long and look for a new boot device. it is normal. just forget it, stop worrying, and move on.

ok but one more thing it also did it multiple time in a row. it would reboot and then shutdown and it did that 2 more time before i turned off the power supply.

I would just install Windows and go from there.
