Hi, i buy my pc from a friend of a friend and its been 6 month and i had it and no problem with it and since a couple of week my pc started to get fps drop and and my Max. cpu speed is 4.1MHz but i cant go higher then 1.4MHz and 2 day ago my cpu speed hit 4.1 MHz and i play Pubg all day
with no lag and the next day cpu speed went down to 1.4MHz and it dont go higher. is there a way to fix my MHz to 4.1 all the time so i can play with out lagging ? (im not a pc guy so sorry if hard to understand) and (im French sorry for my english)

That might be too hot. You need to see if it's throttling down to 60-65C.

Edit: Fourth post talks about thermal throttling happening at 60C for AMD CPUs. I personally don't like my CPUs ever hitting 65C or hotter. Run MSI afterburner like the last post says to check.

Senor, if something is against the rules you should report it. Now his thread just looks bad with no help. Good job there.

OP, I'm sure it goes down to 1.4GHz due to thermal throttling or C&Q. Before you monkey with anything, what is the temp of the CPU while under load? If you bought it used and used it for a 6mo, it might just need to get the heatsink cleaned.
