Firstly, agreed on the Thermaltake Smart, they're awful.
Secondly, bronze is only an indicator of efficiency, not quality. There are plenty of bronze PSUs that are worse than even the TT Smart.
Based on current prices you could consider:
Budget but good quality options:
Power Supply: be quiet! Pure Power 11 500 W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply ($69.90 @ Amazon)
Total: $69.90
Power Supply: Corsair CX (2017) 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($69.99 @ Corsair)
Total: $69.99
Better for a bit more:
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA GM 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular SFX Power Supply ($76.98 @ Newegg)
Total: $76.98
Power Supply: Cooler Master MWE Gold 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($78.36 @ Amazon)
