Hello, I have a CyberpowerPC Gamer Ultra GUA3100A Gaming Desktop with AMD FX-4300 Quad Core 3.8GHz, 8GB DDR3 RAM, 1TB HDD, 24X DVD, AMD R7 240 2GB, Windows 10 Home. I also included some more technical details below:
Processor 3.8 GHz
RAM 8 GB SDRAM DDR3
Hard Drive 1 TB SATA III
Graphics Coprocessor Radeon
Chipset Brand AMD
Card Description R7 240
Graphics Card Ram Size 2 GB
Other Technical Details
Brand Name CyberpowerPC
Series Gamer Ultra GUA3100A
Item model number GUA3100A
Item Dimensions L x W x H 17.50 x 7.90 x 17 inches
Processor Brand AMD
Processor Count 4
Hard Drive Interface Serial ATA-600
Hard Drive Rotational Speed 7200 RPM
Optical Drive Type 24X DVD±RW DL
So I already have a power supply on the way to help with some of the future upgrades. Now I'm looking at grahpics cards, and I want to be able to run games in high and ultra settings with ease no chugging, like it currently does with Dying Light (using this as an example) However, I'm not really sure about my motherboard which is a MSI 760gm-p23 (FX) and what graphics cards I can use with it in order to beef up the quality on heavy games. Or should I invest in a newer motherboard? With Cyber Monday going on, I kind of want to take advantage of items on sale.
I am on a budget, and I was wondering if I could get links on the parts I need, and any advice for future references.
Thanks!
