Hello everyone,

I recently decided that i would build my first pc and i did a lot of research. I went and attempted to piece together a system based on very little knowledge gained her on those forums.

Now i already bought almost all my parts, i just miss a psu and a case. I would like some advice on what will fit my already bought component best.

my Current list:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mDTXJV

As you can see i chose the 212 EVO for an i7 6700k which you would think is not so smart, but i planned to buy the 6600k when in my country the i7 all of a sudden on black friday dropped from €380 to €299 which made it only a 35 euro differnce tot the i5.
Now because i already bought the EVO and i cant return it anymore, i'm looking for a good looking windowd case with good airflow for the EVO. i'm willing to pay up to 120 EUR for the case. D you guys have any suggestions?

As for the psu i have no idea which one to get or how many watts i need. I'm prepared to pay up to 110 EUR for the psu. I'd like to hear your advice?

Ps sorry for my bad english xd

The S340 airflow isn't bad, you'll need to have a couple extra fans for the front panel intake.

When I refer to the push/pull config that relates to the fans on the CPU cooler. One additional fan is all you need to do that. The stock fan already pushes air through, you would add a second pulling air out of the cooler on the opposite side.

For your fans I would grab a couple of Corsair SP 140s for the front and a Corsair SP 120 for the cooler. They're high quality and not too expensive. How high you can push the overclock depends on a lot of factors, but 4.2Ghz isn't a lot for a 6700k and it shouldn't be a problem.

For the PSU I would recommend the Corsair RM550x. It's a very nice unit.
The Hyper 212 Evo is fine for moderate overclocking on a 6700K. Spending extra on a case with slightly extra airflow won't really help you get bigger overclocks. If you want to drive a little more performance out of the cooler add a second fan to it for a push/pull configuration.

A couple of nice windowed cases I like are the NZXT S340 and the Phanteks Enthoo Pro

For a power supply I would look for a high quality 550w like the Corsair Vengeance, the Corsair RMx, EVGA G2, Seasonic G series, etc.

Hey thanks for you'r answer. I actually wanted to buy the s340 too, until i read about the problems it had with high temperatures and airflow. will this still be a problem if i overclock to 4.2/4.3 ghz? Ánd how many extra fans will i need to buy for the s340 for a push/pull configuration?

Lastly wich would you recommend from the psu's you just listed as most silence and efficient.
