currently i am using two 2tb wd red hard disks in my home nas and i am also using a 2tb wd my passport external drive. i bought them in 2013 and i have been using them until now and i had no issues at all

soon i will run out of space in both the nas hard disks and the external hard disk and i need to buy new hard disks which are 4tb

for my nas hard disks i am unsure if i should get wd red 4tb or seagate ironwolf 4tb

for my external hard disk i am unsure if i should get wd my passport 4tb or seagate backup plus portable 5tb

if anyone has used any of those hard disks then please tell me what u used, how long u used it for, if there were any failures or issues and when did the issues happen if there were any issues

I don't think there's any difference between the two. Though according to 2014 study, Seagate has slightly higher failure rate. But that doesn't mean there isn't a possibility where you get WD drive and fails. So I'd say go with cheaper.
