I need some help ASAP

So a couple of days ago my motherboard fried and i got a new one, now with getting a new one and setting it all up i have ran into a couple of issues, my cd drive wont read disks, I have a slower boot time, blue screen when shutting down and my computer isnt reading my SSD.

I am pretty much at a dead end right now I have no idea what to do, I would be okay losing my data because the only information that is on my computer is just games and the operating system.

I also forgot to mention I am pretty new to computer building

Is the motherboard the same as what died? If not, did you do a fresh OS install? If the motherboard changed and you didn't do a fresh OS install that is probably most of your problems.

I actually switched motherboards, and I didn't do a fresh OS install because when i click on my DVD/CD drive with a disk in it, it will just pop open and say "insert a disk"

You will have to do a fresh install OS install to correct your problems.
