i have an i3 3220 that was donated to me butt the motherboard i have with it is s*** has only 2 satas , anyway im thinking about this motherboard http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H61M-VG4/ now what im wondering is will that motherboard fit a dual slot gpu and a wifi adapter , im unable to guess if it can on the picture .
also heres the gpu i have thats going in the new build http://www.scan.co.uk/products/2gb-asus-gtx-750ti-oc-pcie-30-5400mhz-gddr5-gpu-1072mhz-boost-1150mhz-cores-640-dport-dvi-hdmi

and if anyone knows a cheap mother board hat will fit that card and a wifi adapter for m atx that would be a big help :)

B75 is better, yes, but that particular one only has a single PCIe x16 slot and a legacy PCI slot. You won't fit your Wifi card in that board.

thats a nice board but im not getting a second hand one , and tbh the h61 seems okay the board is well built supports my cpu/gpu im just wondering if it can fit my wifi and gpu

well from what i have read on internet it seems okay but i havent gone into a great detail researching it, what chipsets would you recommend for an i3 3220?

keep in mind i am not made of money lol so like 40 pound ish budget

Well, I would only ever get an H61 board for a Pentium or Celeron build on a super tight budget, let's put it that way. Same with an H81 board - they tend to lack features that you end up wanting in the future.

The two parts I always prioritise when building a computer are the power supply and the motherboard. Both will dictate what you can do in the future, and cheaping out early only means that you'll cost yourself more money in the future.

If you plan on moving on from this this system pretty soon (ie. Within the next year) then an H61 board should be fine. But make sure you don't want any more RAM, or want an M.2 SSD etc before then.

ah right well im actually scavenging parts from my current pc (i7 860 ,8gb corsair xms3 ram , asus gtx 750ti, corsair cx 500 psu, kingston ssd now 240gb) the reason im doing this is because the i7 is getting alot hotter due to old age and the motherboard asus p7h57d v evo is going bad getting bsod alot and 3 sata ports blown plus a few audio n usb ports 🙁

anyway what do you think about b75 chips? i found this mobo on amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00C0RCVLW/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE
is it worth it?

ps thanks for listening to my ramblings and thanks for the help :)

yeah the wifi isnt that important i got it for free and never used it , i dont think i would fit in any i can afford as i have a dual slot gpu , but yeah i think ill get the b75 board as it has a sata 6gbs for my ssd,

thanks again
