I need some help with ASUS DRW-1608p

I had problems writing dvd-s with my asus since I got it. Just look at this picture with a dvd written at 2x and you'll see an unexplicable peak in PI Errors at about 0.6Gb. ALL the dvd-s written at any speed, no matter what media I use (Verbatim,Ritek,Benq,Princo) get these peaks. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

This one is a Princo DVD-R, 4x, burned at 2x (Very bad quality media)

This one is a Verbatim DVD+R 16x, burned at 4x (Really good quality media)

In both of them (as in all my dvds) you'll notice the red lines... that are getting me nervous... Please if anyone has any idea how I can get rid of them... please tell me

Your links don't work. If the drive is less than a year old, I'd return it.
