I need some help with Blu-Ray recorders & transferring camcorder tapes

I am looking for a Blu-Ray Recorder so I can transfer my camcorder tapes. I don't want the blu-ray record connected to the computer. I rather play the camcorder tapes directly to a blu-ray recorder. Do you know if they have any with a firewire 1394A port ? I dunno what they have on the market today in regards to what I am looking for. Any suggestions?

The tascams have it but man is that expensive.

Wow that looks interesting but I didn't see a 1394A port on the back but I saw some others I could possibly use. I would like to transfer all my home movies onto Blu-rays.

I didn't look at all the pics, just some of the specs listed it as an input.
