I need some help.

I'm trying to run rift, but on most games, it lags on even the lowest setting. The laptop im running on has pretty good specs but I think it might be the graphics card thats slowing it down. Specs:
HP Pavillion dv6 notebook pc
intel core i5 cpu 2.7 ghz
4gigs ram, direct x 11
intel hd graphics (core i5) integrated 1696 mb

im also thinking it could be that the graphics card is unsupported.. any ideas?

The integrated Intel HD graphics isn't supportive for games even @ low quality, it's just supportive for HD movies, visual applications and so on.

For better gaming experience, you need a discrete GPU on a desktop machine with specific features to run the old and current games effectively.

If it is possible to find out from your manufacturer what graphics card will fit in your laptop , it will make a big performance increase and the ability to play some games on your laptop.

it's a dv6 not Alienware, it's impossible.
