Hello everyone, I skipped the stickies, sorry. I have a thread bellow talking about a macbook I am working on. I need another computer with OS X on it to properly use troubleshoot it. As I work in a computer store I should have everything I need on hand to build a hackintosh but I would like someone to guide me through the OS X installation and let me know if my parts are going to work. Here is what I want to build with and I hope that these parts are compatible.

Asus H81M-ECM Or H81M-Plus Mobo (I can flash the bios if need be)
Pentium G3220 or i5-4440 (the i5 is mine and I'd rather not use it if I don't have to)
Memory: 8GB 2x4 DDR3
KIngston 4gb KVR16LN11/4 or Crucial CT51264BA160BJ
Western Digital 500 or 1TB HDD
or Seagate 160GB HDD (because it's been that long since we sold a Seagate HDD)

First things first I want to know if I can load OS X Snow Leopard on these components then I will worry about the how.

Where exactly should I be looking? I have already joined tonymac a while ago and on both pages you've listed I only see 97 chipset boards and they've even said "Motherboards

We recommend these specific 9 Series motherboards because they have simple post-installation, don't require a pre-patched DSDT, and have native sleep/wake functionality. They also have supported audio and network controllers."

So maybe with more than 4 words you wouldn't mind giving further explanation.

I have looked down the page, many times, many times before today in fact. No where on this page does it list a board that is not a 97 chipset board. I also took to their forum hoping to get better responses.

Edit: thanks I7 for your help, but I am getting somewhere on the tonymac forum. which I suppose I should of started with.

Ok, you could have told me that earlier lol. I found out over on tonymac that I could build an older one but it wouldn't be compatible with the mavericks. I will tell my boss what we will need to build the Hackintosh. Sorry for being short with you earlier, it was uncalled for.
