That should work fine as there 70% isopropyl alcohol, just make sure the CPU is dry before replacing thermal paste & heatsink.

I would not.
You do not want to leave any fibers from the pad on your parts.
You can buy any alcohol to do the job. More pure is nice but not necessary.
Use a coffee filter to wipe the paste off; it is lint free.

Regular rubbing alcohol, Q-Tips, and paper towel works good for me. Don't waste your money on specialty cleaners. Like geofelt said, just be careful not to leave any fibers on the surface you just cleaned.

Just go to your local drug store and buy a bottle of isopropyl alcohol.
I bought from CVS and it is 91%, but lower purity is fine also. You do not need more.
This is not rocket science.
I use paper coffee filters because we have it in the house, and they are lint free.
Anything else will do, even toilet paper.

I've always only used Akasa Tim Clean to shift thermal paste. It works great and smells quite pleasant too! Any microfiber cloth will do.
