I need to get my computer optimized.

I need to get my computer optimized. I thought it was pretty beefy but I lately played Shadows of Mordor, and to my horror, I couldn't max it out without falling into 5-10 frames at times. That doesn't seem right given the specs on my machine, but I'm a noob when it comes to optimizing and I haven't done any tweaking of my system since I overhauled it back in January.

My Dxdiag is below. Otherwise, I have a generic liquid cooling system, a side fan, front fan, and run on a single 1440x900 display.

Any tips you have on steps I can take to get more out of my machine are appreciated.

99% of that information you can delete. It is useless for the discussion.
Do you have a lot of stuff running in the background while you game? Is your tray loaded with apps? Everything running while you game steals resources and clock cycles.
Start by running CCleaner and do the Clean and Registry portions both to clean up registry errors, resource wasting crap, software conflicts, and junk files. That may help quite a bit. https://www.piriform.com/CCLEANER

What do you mean by 1440x? 1440x1080, 1440x900, 2560x1440...?

If the OP runs CCleaner at the default settings he will be fine. I have been using CCleaner like that for many years on many machines. Since back when it was still called Crap Cleaner. It is a very 'gentle' cleaner and gets solid reviews from all the reviewers. Most folks here have been using it for years too.

Sorry about the excess data; I'm always surprised what people find valuable...cleaned it up. Also updated display resolution.

I'm not running anything else in the background, other than generic programs like Steam, the audio manager, etc. Occasionally there might be a Chrome page.

Temperatures are fine, hitting maybe 70C at top. Ever since I upgraded to the 770, Shadow of Mordor and Rome 2 are the only games capable of putting the computer past 50C.
