I need to get sata drive to work

Hello,

Long story short, i have a MSI KT6V MS-7021 mobo a 40gb IDE drive with xp, using it to type this right now, a 200gb seagate SATA drive, with files i need from my old computer that fried, and a WD 250gb SATA drive also from my old computer, I just need to access the files that are stored on them and my bios and OS and RAID controller won't recognize them...the drives work in my buddys computer.

Any help would be appreciated.

To what end? Are you wanting to just copy a few files and thats all until you get a new machine? WIll you transfer them and if so to what?


One simple soultion might be to just get an external USB SATA hard drive dock.
