I need to install my on board graphic driver. HELP

hi guys..

I recently formatted my PC and had to re install the OS (Win Xp SP2). Then I realized I have to re install all the drivers,
Because I lost my MB CD which has all the drivers, then I burrow a disk from a friend and installed some of the missing driver but the Video graphic driver. I do have an embedded/ on board graphic chip.. So I need your help to re install it.

If you remember the make and model of your motherboard, go to the manufacturer's web site and download the drivers.

Yes.. my mother board manufacturer name is FOXCONN.. I went to their site, but it gave me some hard time detecting the correct what to download, and its not a user friendly site.

If you don't know the model number, where did you purchase it from?

I didn't purchase it from a shop, I bought it via a friend of mine. Although i can't find those purchase notes or any thing right now. But there are two different model numbers. I ll post the exact thing as it is on my MB. It s printed like this

FOXCONN
G31MX Series N15235
46GMX Series

So please tell me what is the model number .

Googling G31MX and Foxconn shows socket 775 motherboards. Adding that information to the link [strike]I provided above brings you to a list of motherboard models with 45GMX standing out above the others. I would verify that your motherboard actually says 46GMX and not 45GMX. If it does state 45GMX, that is probably your motherboard and you can then find the on-board VGA drivers you need[/strike].

Edit: As I scanned further down the list of motherboards, I did find G31MX listed as well. I would probably try these first

It gives a Network Busy notice.. I tried several times but still gives the same. It's not going to help me i suppose..

Are there any other place to download this Driver..??

I wouldn't download it from anywhere else. This site comes up for me so I'd keep trying or go to another computer with a flash drive and download them from there.

Motherboard

VGA drivers were on the second page when I looked.

I down loaded the file and tried to update the driver, but there comes a pop up saying "unable to detect the hardware".. still the problem remains as it was ,,,

Take another look at your motherboard. Are you sure it says 46GMX Series and not 45GMX series? If it say 5 and not 6, do the same as before, but instead of looking for the G31MX model number, look for the 45GMX model number.
