I need to know a thing about ram voltages

I am interested on purchase a G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 1333 PC3-10666 8GB CL7 which is 1.5v. The thing is, i don't know which voltage does my motherboard supplys to it's memory.

And my question is: how can i check what voltage does my motherboard suppli? and, if i install this memory, without being aware of the motherboard voltage, may i damage my computer?
 
Solution
Unless manually overridden in BIOS, the system will automatically supply the correct voltage to memory (1.50 V or 1.65 V or whatever is required). There is no risk of damage to the computer while in automatic mode. The only risk of damage is when system automatic mode is overridden and voltage to memory is manually adjusted in BIOS.

DRAM Voltage can be checked by booting into BIOS and checking the DRAM Voltage reading (check motherboard manual for details).

Solution
Before buying memory, check the web site of the motherboard manufacturer for the Memory Compatibility List. And make sure the EXACT memory model number is in that list. Even 1 digit or character off, and the memory may not work as expected with your motherboard.
 
What mobo and CPU? 1600 is generally considered entry level for todays rigs. As far as Compatability List go, they don't really tell you much of anything, simply that the DRAM on the list will boot to the mobos default (generally 1333, with the mobo, it's but whatever they have available at the time they 'test', i.e. it may list 2400, 2666 and higher sticks, but they don't mention that you'll need a K CPU to run at that freq
 


I have just entered my bios to check if the voltage is in automatic mode. But, i couldn't check it because i didn't find it, even in advanced mode. But what i did find, on the main menu of my bios, is a voltage section where it can be seen different voltages. It looked like this image. It is my exact same bios, but this concrete image is taken from google, so this concrete bios is not mine

I couldn't see if the voltage is set to automatic or not, does this image say something for you? what can i do?

Your motherboard manual should have details on where to read memory (DRAM) voltage in BIOS.

By default, the memory voltage is set automatically. BIOS may show this by displaying either "AUTO", or displaying the actual voltage reading (for example 1.50 V), or maybe displaying both "AUTO" and the actual voltage reading.

What make and model is the motherboard?

I explain, I used a program called Speccy to see my motherboard name and fabricant. And it says:

Maker ASUSTeK Computer INC.
Model CG8350 (LGA1155)

CG8350 is the model of my computer. I dont know if this mother is express for that computer i dont know. In google, i start searching information about ASUSTeK Computer INC. CG8350 (LGA1155), All the searches ended up showing me up numerous pages talking about this other model name: ASUS P8H67-M PRO
And i am confused, what name would be the correct? ASUSTeK Computer INC. CG8350 (LGA1155) or ASUS P8H67-M PRO?

I decided that, atleast, i have to start searching info about ASUS P8H67-M PRO. I downloaded the user manual, and i am reading it, but, in the ram section says nothing about the voltages, so im a little confused right now. And btw, in the G.Skill Ripjaws X page, this P8H67-M PRO motherboard, is included in the QVL list, is it good? If needed, i can send to you the user manual download link. Based on the manual for the Asus P8H67-M Pro motherboard, the present DRAM Voltage is shown in BIOS under Advanced\AI Tweaker menu and whether it is Auto mode or not. Please refer to page 2-13 of the motherboard manual.

It is good that the G.Skill memory is included in the motherboard QVL. This confirms that this memory is compatible with the Asus P8H67-M Pro motherboard.
 
Further to my previous post. Downloaded the manual for the Asus Essentio CG8350 desktop. It seems to have very limited options regarding BIOS, and the BIOS is not the same as the BIOS for the P8H67-M Pro motherboard.

It appears that memory information for the "CG8350" is obtained under System Information/SPD tab.
