I need to know how to get a MPEG-2 decoder for Windows 8.1

Hello. I have installed deskscapes for my windows 8.1 machine. I wanted to use a dreamscene and it is in the mpeg-2 format. But when I try to apply it to my desktop it says that i need a mpeg-2 decoder to run that dream. Do you know where I can get one. I know that mpeg-2 decoders got removed in windows 8 does anyone know how to get it back? thank you!

You try install K-lite codec full version. This freeware software in all codecs.
