Hi guys! I need to know if a certain graphics card will bottleneck my system before I buy it. I'm kind of new to this type of stuff so try to help me out. :) Thanks!

I know its not that great, but here is my rig:

Processor: Intel i5-2300 CPU @ 2.80 GHz, 2801 Mhz, 4 cores

graphics card I'm looking at: ZOTAC ZT-90106-10P GeForce GTX 970 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express SLI Support AMP! Omega Core Edition Video Card

URL of the above graphics card:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500369&ignorebbr=1

Secondary graphics card option: EVGA 02G-P4-3757-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 FTW w/ ACX Cooling Video Card

URL of secondary option:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487028

Current graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 5670

I have 8 gigs of ram

I have 1024 MB of vram

Tell me which one would be better in terms of a bottleneck, or just in general. Also, if you guys have any suggestions about other graphics cards I might not have considered, let me know. Thanks so much for your help!!

The better card is the GTX 970 for sure, I do not see your system bottlenecking that card. You should have no issues and will see a large improvement in your gaming.

Eventually I would certainly look at a newer CPU, but for now the GPU seems like a good upgrade for your system. Also, the GTX 970 is much more "future proof" compared to the GTX 750 Ti. The GTX 750 is already dated and will require upgrading again in 1-2 years. The GTX 970 will play all AAA titles at 1080p on High Setting for another 3-4 years with a matching PC.
