Question I need to know, what is the name of this game?

Basically, there was this game me and my twin played 8 years ago. So it's pretty old. My dad (who obviously has a better recollection) says it was a game you downloaded. Here are some details:

You had a base on the left, and you had to defend against something (attackers - maybe zombies).

You could get resources by sending horses out to mine trees and rock etc. You could use these resources to upgrade your walls and defenses.

Edit: I believe there were also archers along the wall. And you could upgrade those as well. I don't remember the quality very well. But I know if I see it I'll know 100%.

Edit2: My dad didn't know 100% and it COULD'VE been one of those online games. The one's you'd play on a website. Send any game that matches most of these criteria please. Thanks.

Edit3: Ok the game "Knights of Honor" is SIMILAR but not it. You'd build up to good walls. I think they'd start at wood and go up. not 100% sure about that last part but I do know you'd upgrade the walls.

After looking at that game through images it's too detailed.

The game is probably older than 8 years old cause even though we played it 8 years ago it was lower graphics than that RTS you gave. The gameplay is similar though.

Why couldn't it be an older Age of Empires game? There's been numerous different games in the series, dating back to the 90's.
Definitely sounds like Age of Empires to me, or even Age of Mythology.

Sounds like a plants vs zombies clone, that game was extremely popular for a minute and was copied like crazy so it's gonna be tough for somebody to find exactly the one you played.

Ok kind of but enemies wouldn't come from every side. It was only the right. So your base was on the left, and the enemies would appear from the right

I just checked and unfortunately no. Because the game I remember had a wall on the left. You'd only get attacked from the right. It wasn't 360

Just type tower defense game into google images and start scrolling, you might spot it that way. Toss in any search term that might be relevant. If it was a mobile or flash game it might be gone.

it's def not a tower defense game. it's an open map.

Edit: yh it's an rts for sure. after scrolling through some pictures. but it has more progression than a common rts game. because in the game you build and upgrade walls.

Looks like Plants vs Zombies purely in meaning, but I know that this is definitely not this game ))
