i need to upgrade my gpu

hello everyone so i currently have a MSI R7 260x 2gb and i think its kinda time to upgrade this baby but well im kinda a noob too what comes to buy new stuff to my pc so a graphics card around 200€-300€ thanks

That is a very decent CPU (even a 980ti will not make it be a noticeable bottle neck.), so it is clearly a graphics shortage. what do you want to play and at what frame rates? what resolution? With out knowing any of that I will say that the best you can get for that range is either an R9 290X or R9 390 or a GTX 970. if you only want to play at 1080p, which is a good idea in terms of price, I would get an R9 280X or and R9 380X or a GTX 960.

After looking at all this options i thing i will go over the budget a bit and get a GTX 970 or a R9 290x cause i think they are both great gpu and im sure i will be happy with it for along time seing as i just want to play some games medium-high 1080p.
Another question i have is do i need to upgrade my PSU?

For the R9 290X I would say get at least 650 watts at 80+ gold, but check your PSU, if it can supply the needed amperage to the card then it will be fine.
