I have a HP Pavilion a340n. It has no 3D abilities. I need to upgrade but don't know where to get the right info to order a graphics card.
What Graphics card will fit? I don't want to go over $200.00.

Solution

Because I don,t how how much space you have in your case, research told me nothing I would go with this
ZOTAC ZT-90310-10M GeForce GTX 960 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500380
$199.99
just make sure it is compatible with your other hardware.
Is your computer stock?
if so and you know that parts in your computer, same applies if you don't just go to hp support to find what you have and then go to pcpartpicker.com to find compatible parts.

Also, I believe my graphics card is included in the mother board. I had another HP Pavilion and was able to find a graphics card that fit in the expansion slot. It has been years and I don't remember where I got it. They told me it would fit and it did. So, that is basically what I need to know. What graphics card will fit the expansion slot?

Solution
Hi; I am back .I went to look at ZOTAC ZT-90310-10M GeForce GTX 960 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card. I found that it will not accommodate the video cable plug for my monitor. The plugin is not configured the same.
So, back to the drawing board.

so what plug is on your monitor?
DVI, VGA, or HDMI

Then It is probably vga, what card do you have now so i can see for a reference.

Go with any card in the GeForce 700 series, but not the 780 or the 780Ti. But make sure your power supply can handle these cards. Stay in above 400W and you should be fine.

No, It will have to fit the add-on slot. There are three one is already taken by something else. Yes it will need a VGA plug-in. This is the Nvidia card I have in the other Computer. Nvidia Ge force GTS 250.It has everything I need. I found one online, but it does not come with the installation CD. The video card slot is, I am sure, the same as the other PC.

I don't understand please clarify.
