I am doing an upgrade in my pc, and my PSU failed me. I want to buy another PSU, but I am stupid and I do not wanna mess it up. Which PSU like a pro all of you are recommend me for my new upgrade?
My PC have:
i7 4790k 4 quad n 8 threads (upgrade)
ASRock Fatal1ty Z97 killer series (upgrade)
32 gb G.Skill RipJaws Z of ram
Creative Xfi sound card

So you don't have a dedicated graphics card? You can get away with very little wattage in that case, but you won't find many quality units below 450w. Something like the Corsair CXM 450 would be a good fit. If you plan to add in a GPU later I would opt for 550w, something like an RMx 550, EVGA G2, or Seasonic.

What is your current graphics card? And what graphics card do you see yourself upgrading to within the next year or so? Ideally you'd want a new power supply to have enough quality and wattage to handle your current and future graphics card? What was the manufacture and model # of your dead power supply? What is your budget for the PSU upgrade?

Also, why do you have the word "upgrade" next to your CPU and motherboard only? I'm just trying to get a full picture of your situation, hence my verbose list of questions.

If you wouldn't mind, could you state two or three games that you currently play and at which resolution?
