I need your help pls

I am a video editor. And I purchased a Intel (R) core (Tm) i5 -2400 CPU @ 3.10ghz with 8 gig ram running it with 64 bit. And with a minimum gpu of 128mb with nvidia quadro NVS 285 .But the configuration did not meet my needs since I bought my new gh5 and I recorded on a 4k quality. I tried but can't edit the 4k footage with the configurations I have and I went to upgrade the gpu but found out that my power supply unit does not have a cable that will fit into the gpu. I dont know what to do I think am stuck with this. Can anyone help me out I will really appreciate.

Is your computer a prebuilt or a custom/home built? Also what GPU are you looking at getting?

If it's prebuilt, your PSU options will depend on if the manufacture but you may be able to upgrade it. If it's a homebuilt, chances are you can use a normal off the shelf model but knowing the case would help.

HP Compaq 6200 micro tower. I really don't know the model of the gpu now but will definitely check at the hardware stores tomorrow but it's nvidia 4 gig with double fan.

You may be out of luck on the PSU upgrade. The PSU your system uses appears to be a proprietary/non standard model, which means an off the shelf PSU isn't going to work.

You "may" be able to get a 750ti to work on it. It seems people who have tried upgrading their 6200 models have had mixed success, some work but some don't. If you decide to try that route, make sure the GPU is a short length model so it fits in the room you have (long cards will hit the CPU cooler) and doesn't require any additional power cables.

Thank you so much. But what if the gpu came with a 6 pin plug where did you suggest I get power to power the gpu *in casei decided to to the risk upgrading it.
