If you're going to go with the 3rd Gen Ryzen CPU and a B450 motherboard, go with one of the MSI "MAX" series motherboard or a motherboard with the Flashback BIOS feature so you can update the BIOS without needing another CPU, if needed.

As for the SSD, I'd probably opt for the Kingston M.2 240GB drive.

Thank you for the reply, I was thinking about going with Crucial BX500 240GB SATA 2.5" 7mm (CT240BX500SSD1), and with the Toshiba Intern Hårddisk P300 2TB (7200rpm) what are your thoughts about that. Appreciate the time :)

I have the b450 A Pro Max and from what ive heard their VRMs are decent at overclocking with as they have pretty decent heat sink over them, someone got 4ghz on a 2600 at 1.325v, although i have not attempted overclocking yet. So it could be a decent option for him/her i got mine for £80 in the uk.

Take your pick really. The only reason I suggested the Kingston was to make use of one of your M.2 slots.

Thanks for the reply, the retailer told me to get the WD Green 3D NAND 240GB SSD (WDS240G2G0A) and the Seagate Intern hårddisk Barracuda Compute HDD 2TB (7200rpm). What do you think about that? And I went with the Asus rog strix b450-e gaming with and updated bios ready for 3rd gen :)

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately, I needed wifi and bluetooth so that's why I went with the Asus rog Strix b450-e gaming:)

I'd say the retailer probably has plenty of those in stock and that's why they recommend them. Other than that, I don't have a problem with that selection (or any other).

Might be true, the retailer said that the wd is the most reliable brand and that the seagate is the most used hdd and that they even use that exact hdd for their own pcs.
