I/O read and write of explorer.exe

Right now my computer is really soow it takes 30mins to boot up and csnt open apps, I checked everything and fine but I saw the I/O read and write of explorer.exe plunging to 3,660,000k, I suspect that this is the cause of my problems, is the I/O read and write of explorer.exe normal? And do someone know how to fix it? I'm running windows 7
