I/O Shield - Bending?

I have an ASUS Z87-PRO board and a Cooler Master Silencio Case (650).

So, when I was putting the system together, I noticed the I/O Shield doesn't fit properly - this is what it does: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNN-thGUCkA&feature=youtu.be (I was holding my phone with one hand so excuse the shaky video).

I'm assuming this isn't normal? Board is being RMA'ed so I shall have another I/O shield tomorrow to test to eliminate it being the I/O shield being too big - but yes, I assume this is a little bit too much bend?

Solution
I have a couple Asus motherboards with a similar I/O shield; if yours is a bit loose in the middle (slightly wider opening in the case), it isn't an issue. Once installed, the motherboard applies pressure against it and it can't move at all. They are nice shields.
The shield is locked into place (where all four corners and the frill bits of the shield are flush to the inside of the case). There is no play or wobble on the corners of the shield.

But the middle, as can be seen by the video posted, is a bit of a joke. As the shield pushes outward when the motherboard is installed, the shield has considerable distance from itself to the ports on the motherboard (about 5mm).

Again, anyone who has a similar ASUS shield or board (shield made out of the same material) - could you comment if this is normal?
