I/o shield placement...

Hey all I finally got the hang of getting the motherboard in with the I/o shield but is it ok if some of the ports are a tiny bit behind the I/o plate?

If the motherboard and IO shield are correctly installed, they should line up close to perfectly. Certainly at least to the point where any misalignment will not obstruct normal use. If the alignment issue is sideways by less than 1mm, then you may be able to fix that by loosening the motherboard mounting screws and wiggling the board slightly to re-position it.

Gotcha what about the use 3.1 tab is it supposed to loop over the little pin or resist against the pin?
