It won't get fried because of that. But you can easily break it during component install. I would say 4 is absolute minimum, 6 being safe number (for mATX).
And what kind of case comes with only 4 standoffs? Even my cheap Arcadia had 9 ...

hi i started a pc build and have no experience and im sh***** i installed the MOBO with only 3 stand offs and intalled the HDD hoping i did it right i put some anti vibration thing on the side of the hdd and sum nails and screwed it in then just inserted it right into the case. sum 1 tell me if this is right and am i going to f it up

Like I wrote before 4 is absolute minimum, set up on four corners. You can mount cooler and RAM on board outside case, that way you minimize risk of breaking board due to insufficient standoffs.
