I bought a FlightGear sim.
MS graphics are not filled in completely.
I have MS 7.
500 gig hard/2.0 ram. HP G72.
I am told I can increase the ram to 8.
But I cannot change the graphic/video card.

Q. Any suggestions/advice?

Thanks,
Phil

Well firstly, your post is filled with statements! is there a specific question that you want an answer to?

Looking very briefly at your HP, it's a laptop, decent enough, however it does have Intel GMA graphics which are bascially, very bad for gaming....maybe some light gaming, but forget about anything new or even demanding in the slightest.
If your question is relating to upgrading the laptop, your snookered there. There isn't much you can do, as laptops are disigned to stay under a certain thermal envelope and as such, swapping new parts in, does away with that, so laptops are not good for upgrading.

Your stuck with a poor gaming machine, in the sense that you will never get crazy resolutions with all eye candy. You will have to dial back most games (those that will run on GMA) to the lowest settings and even then it may not play.

For other daily tasks, eg sufing the web, watching movies, sending emails, your laptop will do nicely.

Also... If your looking at flight simulator that is one of the most CPU intensive games you can play. Hands down. You don't need the latest and greatest GPU for it (a 660 is plenty). Unless your running tons and tons of add-ons like the extra eye candy stuff, (cars, street signs, real time weather etc.)
